Three Celtic Blessings

Three Celtic Blessings is a triptych of ancient Irish prayers, translated into modern English. The pieces are set in a simple homophonic style with extended harmonies. The movements can be performed as a set or individually. The piece was a winner in the 2006 Chanticleer Student Composer Competition, and the third movement, “May the Road” was premiered by Chanticleer in 2007.
